Privacy & tracking disclosure

BitViral records campaign attribution so advertisers pay for verified outcomes and promoters get paid for them. This page is the disclosure for that tracking.

What we store about visitors

• A first-party attribution cookie (hashed visitor id and tracking code).
• Hashed / pseudonymous IP identifiers — not raw IPs on promoter or advertiser dashboards.
• User agent, coarse device/browser, referrer host, and country when a CDN or language header provides it.
• Fraud signals derived from those fields. Signals are retained for administrator review.

What we do not do

• We do not sell visitor-level data.
• We do not treat an IP address as proof of a unique human.
• We do not expose raw IPs or wallet clustering graphs to promoters or advertisers beyond what they need to run a campaign.

Advertiser sites

If you install /tracker.js, tell your visitors that campaign attribution and conversion events are sent to BitViral. Offer a consent mechanism that matches the law that applies to you. This page does not replace legal counsel.
